Terms of use
Last updated October 31, 2026
By using ChaseIQ (the website at chaseiq.io and the app), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
Values are estimates
ChaseIQ estimates what spots and boxes are worth from checklists, pack odds and past sales of ungraded cards. It's a tool to help you compare, not a promise of what you'll pull or what cards will sell for. Any spot can hit big or come up empty.
The data can be incomplete, out of date or wrong. ChaseIQ isn't financial advice. You decide what to buy or sell, and you're responsible for those decisions.
Your account
- You need to be 13 or older to make an account.
- Use a real email you can check. One account per person.
- Keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
What you save
The breaks, values and notes you save are yours. You let us store and show them so ChaseIQ works for you, including to anyone you send a share link to.
Fair use
Please don't:
- copy ChaseIQ's data in bulk, scrape it, or resell it;
- try to break, overload or get around the site's security or plan limits;
- use ChaseIQ for anything illegal, or to mislead buyers about a break.
We may suspend or close accounts that do these things. Where we can, we'll email you first and say why.
Closing an account
You can delete your account any time in Settings. When an account is deleted, by you or by us, your saved breaks, values, settings and share links are deleted with it, and any paid plan stops renewing. The sections on estimates, responsibility and law still apply to how you used ChaseIQ before.
Links to other sites
ChaseIQ links to and loads things from other sites, like WhatNot, Upper Deck and NHL player photos. We don't run those sites and aren't responsible for them. Their own terms apply.
Paid plans
Paid plans (Premium and Breaker) aren't on sale yet. Everything is free while ChaseIQ is being tested. When they go on sale, these rules apply:
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and shown before you pay. Any tax we have to charge is shown at checkout. If you show prices in US dollars, that's an estimate: you're charged in Canadian dollars and your bank sets the exchange rate.
- Renewal: plans renew automatically every month or year, on the date you first paid, until you cancel. We'll email you before a yearly plan renews.
- Cancel any time in Settings or by emailing us. You keep the paid features until the end of the period you paid for, then your account goes back to Free.
- Refunds: if you were charged by mistake, or you ask within 14 days of your first payment for a plan, we'll refund it in full. Otherwise we don't refund part of a month or year. Where the law gives you more rights, those apply.
- Founder pricing: if you join at a founder price, you keep it for as long as your plan stays active. If you cancel or a payment fails and the plan ends, rejoining is at the price of the day.
- Price changes: we'll email you at least 30 days before a new price applies to your plan, so you can cancel first.
- Failed payments: we'll try again and email you. If it still fails, the account goes back to Free.
- Free months we give you end on their date. They never renew or charge you.
- Your data stays: going back to Free never deletes your breaks or hits. Free features keep working.
- Payments are handled by our payment provider. We never see or keep your full card number.
Not affiliated
ChaseIQ isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Upper Deck, the NHL, the NHLPA, any NHL team or WhatNot. Their names and logos belong to them. Player photos come from the NHL.
Changes and availability
ChaseIQ is a small project, so features can change, and the site can be down at times or stop. We'll update these terms when they change and show the new date at the top. Using ChaseIQ after that means you accept the new terms.
Limits on our responsibility
ChaseIQ is provided as is, without warranties. As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for losses from using it or relying on its numbers, including money spent on breaks, boxes or cards. If we are found responsible, the most we owe is what you paid us in the 12 months before, if anything.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
The rest
These terms and the Privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and ChaseIQ. If a court finds part of them can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we can still enforce it later.
